The Rossford varsity cross country team heads into the new season with a simple goal. “We want everyone to progress and get better, and we want everyone to have fun competing,” third-year Head Coach McKenzie Downour said.

The fifth annual Bulldog Foundation golf tournament will take place Monday, September 19, at Belmont Country Club. The four-person scramble has an 1 p.m. shotgun start. The $125 entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, cart, a grab-and-go lunch and prizes for winners.

The Rossford varsity golf teams are both ready to swing into the 2022 season with hopes of competing in the top half of the league. The girls team returns four players from last year’s squad that finished sixth in the league.

The Rossford High School Lady Dogs softball team will host their 20th annual golf outing on Saturday, August 13, at Chippewa Golf Club. The event has an 8 a.m. shotgun start. The $70 entry fee includes golf, skin, cart and dinner at the Rossford American Legion.
