Football league honors announced

David Bringman, the Northern Buckeye Conference commissioner, has announced the following honors for Rossford High School football. Earning All-League First Team were receivers Jake Morrison and Kaden Kirkman; quarterback Alex Williams, and kicker Jonah Shafer.

Girls golf league honors announced

David Bringman, the Northern Buckeye Conference commissioner, has announced the following honors for Rossford High School girls golf players. Named Second Team All League were Haley Hogan, with 206 points and averaging 48.75, and Sophia Shinavar, with 199 points and averaging 53.3.

Bulldogs crush Woodmore, 63-7

The Rossford Bulldog offense exploded for 35 second quarter points on their way to a 63-7 win over the Woodmore Wildcats last Friday in an Northern Buckeye Conference contest. The Wildcats turned the ball over five times and, on occasion, Rossford’s offense dictated the tempo of the game.

Otsego edges Bulldog football team, 17-14

The Rossford Bulldogs dropped another close one as they were edged by the Otsego Knights 17-14 last Friday night at Jackson-Ferguson Stadium. On a night when the Bulldogs donned camouflage jerseys to honor the military, defense was definitely on display.

Bulldog Foundation golf tournament to be Sept. 19

The fifth annual Bulldog Foundation golf tournament will take place Monday, September 19, at Belmont Country Club. The four-person scramble has an 1 p.m. shotgun start. The $125 entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, cart, a grab-and-go lunch and prizes for winners.
