William “Bill” C. Steward, 90, of Rossford, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. He was the son of Merrill I. and Mae E. (Marchant) Steward, born in Rossford on June 21, 1933.

MARYLIN SUE KALMBACH 05/30/1944 - 10/09/2023

Marylin Sue Kalmbach, age 79, of Rossford, passed away October 9, 2023. She was born May 30, 1944, in Zanesville, to William and Glenna (Knicely) Hamilton. Sue graduated from New Concord High School and attended Appalachian Bible College in Mount Hope, West Virginia.

ROBERT DAVID HIRZEL

Robert David Hirzel of Rossford passed away Sunday, October 8, 2023, at the age of 71. He was born April 19, 1952, to Robert and Alva Hirzel. He was a 1970 graduate of Rossford High School and Penta County, where he learned the welding trade.

Louis S. Pietrasz, age 96, of Rossford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 27, 2023. He was born on November 4, 1926, to Louis and Hedwig (Pacieszniak) Pietrasz in Rossford. Louis attended St. Mary Magdalene Catholic grade school and later graduated from Rossford High School in 1944.

JOSEPH J. GNIEWKOWSKI

Joseph J. Gniewkowski, 73, passed away peacefully in Sylvania, on September 3, 2023. He was bom to his parents, Eugene and Josephine (Konieczna) Gniewkowski, in Toledo, on February 16, 1950. He and his family resided in Rossford, and he was a 1968 graduate from Rossford High School.

Long serving Perrysburg Twp. fiscal officer passes

A long-time public official for Perrysburg Township passed away August 22. Shirley “Ginger” Haar served the residents of the township for nearly two decades as the fiscal officer, an elected position.

RENEE M. MORELOCK

Renee M. Morelock died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on August 26, 2023. She was born to her parents, Robert and Jacqueline (Hess) Busch in Toledo, on November 5, 1949.

DANIEL SCHICK JR.

On Monday, August 14, 2023, Daniel Schick Jr. passed away peacefully in his home in New Dover, Ohio, after an extended battle with pancreatic cancer. In his short time on earth, Danny accomplished many things.

ANDREW R. KRAJICEK JR.

Andrew R. Krajicek Jr., 86, passed away on August 15, 2023, in Port Charlotte, Florida. He was born July 23, 1937 in Wood County, Ohio, to Andrew and Elizabeth (Kacmarik) Krajicek of Northwood. In 1973, Andrew married Rita Mathis in Rossford, and she passed away on December 25, 2021.

Tracy Almester lived a beautiful life. She was eclectic, deeply spiritual, headstrong and fiercely kind. You could find her near rivers, lakes and seas or at home tending to her plants, flowers and cacti. On Tuesday, August 15, she lost her fight with ovarian cancer while surrounded by her family.
