Dorothy B. Belegrin, age 84, of Rossford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 21, 2021, in Kingston Care Center of Perrysburg. She was born February 27, 1937, in Rossford, to Nicholas and Mary (Zawojski) Andryc, where she was a life-long resident. A 1955 graduate of Rossford High School, she was an active member of All Saints Catholic Church.

Betsy (Schwertfeger) Davies, 77, of Collingwood, Ontario, Canada, passed away October 27, 2021. She was born July 12, 1944 in Toledo, Ohio, to F.

Gregory C. (Greg) Brown, known to many as “GB” or “Brownie,” of Rossford, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on November 13, 2021.

Dorothy Rachel Otis, 86, of Toledo, died Friday, November 12, 2021. She was born to Levi and Thelma Lukens in Waldo, Ohio, on January 2, 1935. She grew up on a dairy farm in Fayette, attended Heidelberg College and graduated from Bowling Green State University. For 30 years she was a first and second grade teacher in Tecumseh, Michigan; Hanau, Germany, and in Rossford.

Alvin O. Spohn, 86, of Rossford, Ohio, passed away at Birchwood Care Center, Fairfield Township, Ohio, on Monday, October 11, 2021. He was born in Toledo, on December 16, 1934, to Oscar and Vera (Fansler) Spohn. Alvin married his sweetheart, Irene M. (Jacoby) Spohn, on June 27, 1953 in Toledo.

Hubert “Pete” Bailey, age 88, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021, at Heartland of Perrysburg. He was born on August 15, 1933, in Ewing, Virginia, to William Paul and Nellie (Brooks) Bailey. Pete graduated from Scott High School in Toledo and worked for Libbey- Owens-Ford for 38 years as a computer programmer. He was a member of the Rossford Eagles and loved dancing, camping and jigsaw puzzles. He also enjoyed spending the winter in Florida with his special friend, Peg Lauer.

Paul Richard Yoder of Rossford, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Kingston Rehabilitation of Perrysburg. Paul was born August 2, 1935, in Archbold, Ohio, to the late Christian and Stella Yoder. Paul was preceded in death by his brother, Don, and sister, Anna Mae (Marty) Sorensen. Paul was a graduate of Archbold High School and Defiance College, where he earned a bachelor in education degree.

James Edward Miller, age 73, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2021, under hospice care in Holland, Ohio. Jim was born in Perrysburg, on July 22, 1948. Jim was raised in Rossford, and was a loving son to his parents, Jim and Dolly, and an ornery brother to his sisters, Marcia and Vickie.

Elmer V. Takats, age 92, from Rossford, Ohio, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021. He was born on March 15, 1929, to Vincent and Katherine (Kish) Takats. Elmer was the second youngest of nine children, and he was the last of his siblings to pass away. He married Sylvia J. Bruzda on September 14, 1957, and she preceded him in death in 2015. They had two children, Shelley and Mark. Mark preceded him in death in February 2021.

Douglas A. Lee, 79, of Perrysburg, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 14, 2021. Doug was born on March 6, 1942, in Perrysburg, to Bertrue and Clara (Loomis) Lee. He was the 10th of 11 children. Doug proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and is a veteran of the Vietnam War.
