June 21, 1938 – November 8, 2023

Thomas Larkin Gamble, 85, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed peacefully into the arms of his Savior on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. He was a son of the late Cecil and Esther (née Bolin) Gamble.

He worked many years with Daimler Chrysler and Navistar before retiring in June of2000. Tom, as he was known to many, loved to fish. He was an avid card player and loved shopping, traveling and spending time with his family. He was an active member of the United Methodist Church and involved in the Stephen Ministry. He will be remembered by countless people for his involvement with youth sports and scouting.

He was preceded in death by his sons, Todd G. Gamble and John (at birth); a sister, Rita Smith; granddaughter, Michelle Gamble, and daughter Surviving are his loving and devoted wife of 64 years, Patricia Lou Gamble; sons, Thomas A. (Marjorie) Gamble and Rand Gamble; grandsons, Brandon and Nicklaus Gamble; granddaughters, Tanya (Matt) August, Hannah (Austin) Armstrong, Sydney, Grace and Gabrielle Gamble; four great-grandchildren, Nora, Ian and Liam August, and Taylor Garcia; as grandchildren, Paul Tucker, Annabelle Blankenship and Noelle Knight.

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be at I p.m., Sunday, November 19, at First Wayne Street United Methodist Church, 300 East Wayne Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana, with visitation one hour prior to service.

Preferred memorials are to First Wayne Street United Methodist Church of Fort Wayne.
