Durco plays in NJCAA national volleyball championship tournament with Terra State

Rossford native Karagyn Durco had the opportunity this spring to compete at the national championships as a member of the Terra State Community College volleyball team. The 5’5 freshman is a setter on the team in Fremont, Ohio.

Lacrosse league partners with Total Sports Rossford

The Premier Lacrosse Group is forming a partnership with Black Swamp Lacrosse Club and Total Sports Rossford to serve area players. “Together, our goal is to introduce more players to the sport and provide advanced box and field lacrosse opportunities,” said PLG director, Mark Greaney.

Bulldog baseball finishes third in NBC

The Rossford High School varsity baseball team experienced some early-season adversity but rallied in the second half to finish third in the Northern Buckeye Conference. After winning the season’s opening doubleheader against Waite, the Bulldogs traveled to Tennessee for a spring break trip.

Mr. Weber was at the meet cheering Jamari on exactly 50 years after earning his own state titles in the 120 yard high hurdles and the 180 yard low hurdles. “A class act all around, it was so cool to see one Rossford legend welcome another into legendary status,” said RHS head track coach Todd Eckel.

Croom wins state track championship in 200m

Rossford High School’s Jamari Croom became the state champ in the 200m dash and sprinted his way into the RHS record books last weekend at the Division II state track and field championships held at Pickerington High School North.

David Bringman, the Northern Buckeye Conference commissioner, has announced the following honors for Rossford High School athletes. On the boys baseball team, senior second baseman Tyler Dowell and senior catcher Andrew McManus were named First Team.

The Rossford High School boys varsity track team finished third of 11 teams at the Division II district track meet at Oak Harbor last Thursday and Saturday.

RHS tennis team members are: Ethan Bihn, Gavin Boggs, Zachary Boggs, Mia Carusone, Aryanna Klocko, Johnathan Klocko, Sean Klocko, Zane Klocko, Abigail Misko, John Rust, Abigail Sanders, Madelyn St. Mary, Nicholas Walker, Kyle Winkle and Ethan Wiseman.
