Girls in grades 4 to 6 invited for basketball

Girls in grades 4 to 6 are being sought to play on Rossford youth girls basketball teams this winter. Practice and a parent information meeting will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, October 21, at Rossford High School. The teams will play in a league and possibly some tournaments.

Bulldogs score late to edge Eastmoor 28-27

The Rossford Bulldogs rallied for a touchdown and a go-ahead two-point conversion late in the fourth quarter, and then came up with a decisive defensive stop to edge the visiting Eastmoor Warriors, 28-27.

Otsego Knights outlast Bulldogs, 30-19

The Rossford High School football team traveled to Otsego last Friday night to tangle with one of the best offensive teams in the area. In a penalty-marred contest, the Bulldogs initially kept pace with the league leaders but succumbed to the Knights’ big play offense in the second half, 30-19.

Bulldogs bounce back with win over Fostoria Redmen, 42-14

Rossford returned to the win column with a decisive victory over their hosts, the Fostoria Redmen, 42-14 last Friday night. On a night when the offense racked up 311 total yards, the Bulldogs found plenty of yardage through the air as quarterback Alex Williams threw five touchdown passes.

Girls golf league honors announced

David Bringman, the Northern Buckeye Conference commissioner, has announced the following honors for Rossford High School girls golf players. Sydney Doughten earned All League Second Team, and Haley Hogan was named All League Honorable Mention.
