Two named to Athletic Hall of Fame for 2022

The 2022 Rossford High School Athletic Hall of Fame class will be introduced Friday, January 28, during halftime of the varsity basketball game. Emanuel “Manny” Durden, Class of 1989, and Dennis “DJ” Recknagel, Class of 2011, are being honored.

Bulldogs fall short to St. John’s in MLK showcase

The Rossford boys basketball team proved their competitiveness January 17, battling the entire game before narrowly losing to the Toledo St. John’s Titans, 53-52. The game was part of the second annual Rossford MLK Showcase, a basketball event that focused on honoring Martin Luther King Jr.

Rossford put forth one of its most dominating performances of the season last Saturday night when they whipped the Woodmore Wildcats 75-36 in a Northern Buckeye Conference varsity basketball game at the George G. Wolfe Fieldhouse.

Behind a swarming defense and some sharp perimeter shooting, the Rossford boys basketball team ousted Otsego, 78-43, in a Northern Buckeye Conference varsity basketball game January 4. “It was a great team game. The kids came out and shared the ball well. We had great ball movement.

Bulldogs defeat Clyde, fall to Perrysburg in Holiday Tournament

The Rossford Bulldogs played host in the second annual Rossford Holiday Tournament. The two-day event featured some great basketball from Rossford, Perrysburg, Clyde and St. Francis.
