LOIS ANN “ANN” (MARTIN) KINDERVATER

Lois Ann “Ann” (Martin) Kindervater, 97, passed away on August 17, 2021, at Hospice House in Greenwood, South Carolina. She was born August 3, 1924, in Toledo, Ohio, to Wilbur F. and Flora Naomi (Potter) Martin.

She married William “Bill” Kindervater in Toledo.

Ann graduated from the Toledo School of Nursing in 1945. She worked as a nurse for many years before staying home to raise their family. Ann volunteered with the Red Cross, Project Hope, Toledo and St Luke’s hospitals, and as an active member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority. She continued to help others by volunteering in the Healthcare Center at Wesley Commons, Greenwood.

She is survived by husband, William Kindervater; son, Fred (Rachel) Kindervater, Rosharon, Texas; daughter, Martha Leslie, West Palm Beach, Florida, and son, John (Vicki) Kindervater, Bargersville, Indiana. She also is survived by grandchildren, Dan (Abby) Kindervater, Allison Leslie, Emily Kindervater, and Paul Kindervater.

Funeral location and memorial service are yet to be determined. Interment will be in Fort Meigs Cemetery, Perrysburg.

Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Peidmont, Greenwood, South Carolina.
