IRENE GROD DeBROCK

Irene Grod DeBrock, age 82, of Marietta, Georgia, passed on September 9, 2021. Mrs. DeBrock was born on September 23, 1938, in Rossford.

She is survived by her son, Grant DeBrock; daughter, Cole DeBrock Thompson; son-in-law, Harold Thompson; sister, Anna Wasylyshyn; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mary and Hank Cabot, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Irene DeBrock lived life her own way. She retired after a successful career in banking. She loved rescuing animals, gardening, spending time with her husband, Dave, and kids on Lake Lanier.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, September 25, at 4 p.m. at St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church, 135 Walnut Street, Rossford.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Humane Association. HM Patterson and Son, Canton Hill Chapel, of Marietta, Georgia, is in charge of arrangements.
