Brenda Kay Walczewski, age 68 years, of Rossford, Ohio, passed away peacefully at Promedica Flower Ebeid Hospice on Monday, April 26, surrounded by her loving children.

Brenda was born December 31, 1952, in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, the first of two children. She attended Worthington High School before moving to Columbus, where she lived for many years before moving to Toledo.

In 1998, she married her friend, Garry Walczewski, and moved to Rossford where she lived for 23 years.

She worked diligently to acquire a phlebotomy certificate in 1995, and she was employed with Mercy at the Eastgate lab, making many friends along the way, until her retirement.

She had many talents, and a hand for crafting, as well as sewing, crocheting, knitting, beading, quiltmaking, gem collecting and embroidery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Garry V. Walczewski; her father and mother, Hansford and Norma Harrison, and her daughter, Catherine K. Fallon.

She is survived in death by her sister, Delenda Moore; aunt, Geraldine Terry; uncle, Peter (Bonnie); daughter, Christine K. Goodman (Bill); sons, Jeffery E. Fallon (Genoveva), and Richard E. Bovee Jr. (Kristen); grandchildren, Nicholas, David, Kaitlin, Ronald, Lucy, Alexa and Jeffery Jr., and her cat, Emma.

Services will be private. The family asks that donations be made to the Arthritis Foundation of America.
