This sweet gentle soul, Chelsea Rayne Smith, age 26, of Oregon, passed away unexpectedly at home Sunday, April 18, 2021. Chelsea was born on August 15, 1994 in Toledo, Ohio. She attended Rossford Schools and graduated from Penta Career Center second in her carpentry class. Chelsea loved spending time with her baby, Ariyah and hanging out with her family and friends. She really enjoyed being outdoors and around animals.

Chelsea is survived by her daughter, Ariyah; mother, Laura (Steve) Iman, father, Jason (Damaris) Jones; stepfather, Garrett (Robin Renner) Alexander; grandparents, Larry and Theresa Smith, Sandy Jones; step-grandmother, Ella Mae Iman, brothers, Austin Jennings Jones-Smith, Tylor Hayden Alexander-Smith; half-sister, Ashlee Jones; half-brother, Rollin (Kolbey) Jones; uncles, Larry (Carmen) Smith, Wayne Smith, Andrew (Maria) Skoraro; special friend, Dillon Rose, and many cousins and friends.

Chelsea was preceded in death by her stepbrother, Tyler Renner, and grandfather, James Jones. She will be greatly missed for she was loved by so many.

Chelsea had a way of entering a room that brought delight to everyone present. Her large smile and beautiful bright eyes drew you in and let you know you were special; for in her own loving way she always made sure everyone received a hug.

Family and friends visited the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Road, in Oregon, on Saturday, April 24, from 2 to 6 p.m. Funeral services were held at 6 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
