Stephanie (Stef) Jean Jakubec, age 92, of Rossford, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2021, in Genoa, Ohio. She was born on July 1, 1928, in Rossford, to John and Mary (Galgocy) Jakubec. Stephanie was a graduate of Rossford High School and worked as the secretary at the Rossford Ordinance Depot. She also worked for the IRS and the Selective Services. Stephanie was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Toledo. She was proud of her Slovak heritage and enjoyed Polka dancing.

Stephanie is survived by her brother, Richard (Carol) Jakubec, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Cecelia Jakubec, Josephine (John) Balog, Marie (Robert Sr.) Vascik, and nephew, Deacon Richard Vascik.

Visitation was held on Sunday, March 28, at the Sujkowski-Walker Funeral Home, 830 Lime City Road, Rossford. The Funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 29, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 628 Locust Street, Toledo.
