Community parks survey

The City of Rossford is gathering community feedback to guide future improvements to their parks, recreation areas and facilities. Community input will help the city understand how residents use these spaces and what new features or upgrades they would like to see.

December will be full of festivities for the whole family at Rossford Public Library.•Running through January 30, children ages 5-17 can pick up their Winter Reading Club bingo board (one board per child).Each time a child gets a bingo, they can have the board stamped.

Wood County Suicide Prevention Coalition to start survivor of suicide loss support group

The Wood County Suicide Prevention Coalition works to raise awareness of suicide in the community, conveying that suicide is preventable. Further, mental health conditions are treatable and decreasing stigma as a barrier to someone seeking treatment.

Holidays at the Manor House returns Dec. 6-14

Holidays at the Manor House, a longstanding tradition at Wildwood Preserve Metropark, returns Saturday, December 6, through Sunday, December 14, with more than 30 holiday displays created by volunteers inside one of Toledo’s best-known, historic homes. The house is open daily for tours from 10 a.m.
