McDonald’s owner operators throughout Ohio will be raising funds for local high school athletic programs, including Rossford High School, on Friday, October 6. During the digital fund-raiser day, 20 percent of all sales purchased through the McDonald’s app will be donated to local sports programs.

Communities across Ohio are urging residents to “Be the Change for Clean Water” and take action during Stormwater Awareness Week, October 1-7. Stormwater can push common household items– such as trash, lawn fertilizer, or paint–into local waterways, threatening the environment and clean drinking water.

Rachel Tinney is running to be a member of Rossford city council. “As a proud mom, wife, and Rossford High School alumni, my family and I have always been active community members and are dedicated to seeing Rossford succeed,” she said.

The 20th annual German-American “Story Slam” is set for Wednesday, October 11, at 7 p.m., at the Wood County Museum, 13660 County Home Road, Bowling Green.
