Tiffany Densic runs for re-election on Rossford Board of Education

Tiffany Densic has announced her candidacy for re-election to the Rossford Board of Education. A twenty-three-year resident of Rossford, Ms. Densic has spent the past two decades volunteering her time and financial experience to the district, serving as a volunteer on numerous citizen-based school committees and as a two-term board member. As a former licensed loan officer for Savage Mortgage Services and an insurance advisor and client services associate for Ayers Wealth Management, she understands the need for strong fiscal management of taxpayer dollars.

Proposed legislation to protect election officials

State Senators Theresa Gavarone and Bill DeMora have introduced Senate Bill 173, a bipartisan proposal to protect Ohio’s election officials. The bill prevents their residential and family information from being included in public records.

OSU marching band to perform in Rossford

The Ohio State University marching band will stop in Rossford for a special concert on its way to the Ohio State versus Michigan football game. The show will be Friday, November 24, at 7 p.m. at Rossford High School. The event is hosted by the Ohio State Alumni Club of Wood County and Rossford Schools.

Halloween parade Sunday, October 29

The Rossford recreation department and Rossford Business Association will hold their annual Halloween parade on Sunday, October 29. The parade will begin at 2 p.m.

Work progressing on Corporate Drive bldg. acquired by Penta

Work is progressing on Penta Career Center’s recently acquired building at 1205 Corporate Drive, Holland. At the October 10 school board meeting, Ryan Lee, center director, said demolition of the interior is complete, and they are now entering the design and construction phase.

Rossford library to host local authors, November 1

The Rossford Public Library, 720 Dixie Highway, will hold a presentation and book signing at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, November 1. Authors Mark Weber and Gary Franks will discuss the local history covered in their book.
