The total solar eclipse on Monday, April 8, will bring a once-in-a-lifetime phenomenon to Ohio. The total eclipse will last only a few minutes, but traffic around the event could jam up roads for hours. If you have the day free, work from home, or have children home from school, the best place to watch the eclipse is in your own backyard.

A message from the City of Rossford

Body
The northwest Ohio area may see a significant increase in vehicular traffic causing delays the day of, day after, and weekend leading up to the total eclipse. A major increase in visitors to this area may create shortages of essentials such as food, gasoline, and cellular phone availability, as well as strain our emergency response services.
