The Northwestern Water and Sewer District has provided the following updates on projects. All work is weather permitting.

The Gathering of Quilters will meet Thursday, April 18, at Holland Free Methodist Church, 6605 Angola Road, Holland. Enter at south end of building. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the meeting beginning at 7 p.m.

Community members are invited to attend an interactive support group aimed at helping adults adjust to the loss of any loved one. “Walking through grief” will be held the first and third Friday of each month, May through October, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Perrysburg Hospice Center, 30000 East River Road.

The Rossford Business Association will award four $500 scholarships again this year, to seniors who are either a resident of the City of Rossford or Perrysburg Township. Applications can be picked up in the guidance counselor’s office at Rossford High School or at Inside Out Self Storage office, 194 Dixie Highway, Rossford.

On April 2, Safe Communities released its crash data. There has been one fatal crash to date compared to five last year at this time, said Sandy Wiechman, coordinator.

Joy Bennett, of the Hancock Historical Museum, will be the speaker for the upcoming Tea and Talk on Thursday, April 18. The program will begin at 2 p.m., at the Wood County Museum at 13660 County Home Road, Bowling Green.

Residents are invited to the Rossford Public Library, 720 Dixie Highway, for lentils your way, a program teaching recipes and exploring the nutritional value and health benefits of lentils. It is presented by Shannon Smith of the OSU extension office on Friday, May 10, at 2 p.m.

On the second Saturday of every month, warm meals to-go are provided by the Islamic Center of Greater Toledo and available at the Perrysburg Heights Community Center, 12282 Jefferson Street, Perrysburg.
