'Shine with Purpose’ jewelry sale returns to Christ UMC Oregon

Cardinal Shop opens to give students access to food outside of school hours

Cardinal Stritch Catholic High School and Academy announces the opening of the “Cardinal Shop,” sponsored by Ed Nagle and Nagle Companies, on October 21, 2025, at the school. Nagle and employees of Nagle Companies, Inc. joined students and staff to open the Cardinal Shop formally.

577 to host winter celebration event Saturday, December 6

577 Foundation will host a new winter celebration, Joy and Light: A Celebration of Art, Music and Community, on Saturday, December 6, from noon to 4 p.m. The free event invites friends, families and neighbors to enjoy the simple joys of the season together.

City Council has first reading of 2026 budget

Rossford City Council had a first reading, during their regular meeting on November 10, of its proposed 2026 budget.“The budget for next year includes 24.5 million in expenses city wide, and that’s based on roughly 20 million dollars in revenues,” said Finance Director Chris Kirk.

Rossford Resident to receive Spirit of Wood County Award

Eight individuals from across Wood County, including one Rossford resident, will be honored with Spirit of Wood County Awards. The Wood County Commissioners will present the awards on Sunday, November 23, at 2 p.m., in the Alvin L. Perkins Atrium, at the Wood County Courthouse Complex.
