Rossford Eagles Auxiliary annual holiday craft show

Rossford Eagles Ladies Auxiliary 2322 will hold their annual holiday craft show on Saturday, November 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at 658 Lime City Road. Handmade crafts will be available along with a vendor raffle and 50/50 drawing. Breakfast burritos and lunch will be available for purchase.

NWSD rescheduled board meetings and holiday closures

City tree lighting ceremony to be Nov. 25

Area residents are invited to kick off the holiday season at 7 p.m., Monday, November 25, at Rossford’s annual tree lighting ceremony.The traditional Christmas season event will take place on the front lawn of the municipal building, 133 Osborn Street.

Veterans Tenant Tuesday set for Nov. 19

Veterans facing housing challenges are invited to attend Veterans Tenant Tuesday, a free event providing one-on-one legal consultations with experienced attorneys. It will be held Tuesday, November 19, from 9:30 a.m. to noon, at the Toledo Lucas County Library, 325 North Michigan Street, Toledo.

The Perrysburg Township food distribution will be held Thursday, November 14, from 8 to 10 a.m.The township fire department will sponsor the food give-away at the township building, 26609 Lime City Road, the second Thursday of each month.

County museum to host ‘turkey drop’

The Wood County Museum has partnered with Toledo Aerial Media (TAM) for a fun and unique fundraising event. A turkey drop is set for Friday, November 15, at 8:30 a.m. in the parking lot of the Wood County Museum.Clint Corpe, of the Morning Show, radio station 88.1 WBGU-FM, will be the announcer.
