Republic Services changes for Labor Day schedule

Republic Services will be adjusting next week’s collection schedule in observance of Labor Day on Monday, September 2. The holiday will cause a one-day delay to the normal schedule for the week. All bins and containers must be placed curbside by 6 a.m.

Rossford library introduces new homeschool program

The Rossford Public Library will launch its newest program in September— Homeschool Hub.The program is for homeschool families in Rossford and its surrounding communities and will meet on the first Friday of each month from 10 to 11 a.m., with the kick-off date of Friday, September 6.

Zoar food packing event with Sew Hope

On Saturday, September 7, Zoar Lutheran Church will host a food packing event in their family life center, from 9 to 11 a.m. Zoar has teamed up with Sew Hope and the Kid’s Coalition Against Hunger to help support mission work in Guatemala.

Phoebe and Owen McCracken recently completed Rossford Public Library’s 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program. Phoebe is five years old and finished her 1,000 books a week before starting kindergarten.
