Wood County Sheriff Mark Wasylyshyn reminds all drivers that November is the month with the highest number of vehicle/deer crashes in the county.

October and December being the next two highest months.

•Wood County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) handled a total of 275 vehicle/deer crashes in 2023–40 in October and 62 in November.

•To date, WCSO has recorded 176 vehicle/deer crashes in 2024.
