Sunshine Communities to host free concert Sept. 7

Sunshine Communities will host a free public concert featuring Girl Named Tom on Saturday, September 7, in uptown Maumee.The event, celebrating the organization’s 75th anniversary, is a way to thank the community for its support of people with developmental disabilities through their mission.

Rhythm on the River program set for Sept. 8

Gathering of Quilters to meet on September 19

The Gathering of Quilters is an organization founded in 1982, celebrating 42 years of promoting the art and craft of quilt making.Meetings are held at Holland Free Methodist Church, 6605 Angola Road, Holland, on the third Thursday of each month September through May (excluding December), at 7 p.m.

Canine Cancer Project to host 13th annual dog walk
