Perrysburg Christians United will host a blood drive on Friday, September 13, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Zoar Lutheran Church. Donors must be 17 years of age, at least 110 pounds and in general good health.Appointments can be scheduled online at redcross blood.

Rossford library introduces new homeschool program

The Rossford Public Library will launch its newest program in September— Homeschool Hub.The program is for homeschool families in Rossford and its surrounding communities and will meet on the first Friday of each month from 10 to 11 a.m., with the kick-off date of Friday, September 6.

Native plant sale set for September 14, 15

Blue Creek Seed Nursery, 7790 Schadel Road, Whitehouse, will hold a fall plant sale on Saturday and Sunday, September 14 and 15. Sale hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.Organizers note that the fall season is a good time to put native plants and seeds in the grounds.
