Rossford Police make arrest in car theft outbreak

From August 28 to September 10, the Rossford Police Department took reports from 19 residents who had property stolen from their vehicles during the early morning hours. The thefts occurred on Windsor, Vineyard, Maybar, Colony Road, Indian Ridge Trail, Hillview and Santus.

The Rossford American Legion Post 533 will host the 16th annual JJ Durco Memorial Golf Scrambles on Saturday, September 28, 8:30 a.m., at Green Meadows Country Club in Monroe, Michigan.The event is open to men, women and mixed foursomes.

Nature’s Nursery’s Battle Of The Birdhouses is back for its fifth year of encouraging creativity and raising funds for local wildlife.Each year, the organization admits more than 3,700 sick, injured and orphaned native wild animals for care and also helps hundreds more remain in their wild habitats.
