Rossford Library adds 85th 1,000 book club member

Congratulations to Marley Jo Wilson who has just completed the Rossford Public Library's 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten challenge.Marley loves gymnastics and basketball and told the librarians she might even want to be an Olympic gymnast someday.

RBA to award four $1,000 scholarships

The Rossford Business Association will award four $1,000 scholarships this year to 2025 graduates living in the Rossford School District. Applications can be picked up in the guidance counselor’s office at Rossford High School.The deadline for applications is April 25.

Sixteen members of the Toledo Sail and Power Squadron recently attended the 14th Winter Rendezvous in South Haven, Michigan. The group stayed at the Carriage House at the Harbor, a Victorian Bed and Breakfast.The weekend included gourmet breakfasts, cocktail parties and dinners at local restaurants.

The Rossford Eagles 2322 Ladies Auxiliary celebrated its 85th anniversary with a banquet and entertainment on February 22. Fraternal Order of Eagles state, district and zone dignitaries were in attendance. Rossford’s Mayor Neil MacKinnon III presented a proclamation.
