Decreasing renewal levy Frequently Asked Questions

Rossford Schools will have a renewal operating levy with a tax reduction on the Tuesday, May 6, ballot. It is a 4.9 mill levy that the board voted to put on the ballot as a decrease from the 5.9 mill it was initially voted on in 2015. This renewal levy is for five years.

Rossford Chess Team takes first place

On April 5, the Rossford High School Chess Team ended its season by taking first place in the grades 9-12 section of the TPS Chess Tournament at Jones Leadership Academy with 12 board points.

SOS Club serves breakfast

Rossford High School’s Serving Our Soldiers (SOS) Club will host a pancake breakfast to benefit Flag City Honor Flight on April 26. The event will be at the Rossford Junior/Senior High School cafeteria from 8 to 11 a.m., or until sold out.

WCRWC accepting scholarship applications

The Wood County Republican Women’s Club (WCRWC) is now accepting applications for scholarships to any female high school senior who lives in Wood County and plans to attend college in 2025. Scholarships range from $500 to $1,000.
