The American Red Cross invites donors to make an appointment to give lifesaving blood or platelets this spring. Travel plans and holidays can make it challenging to keep donation appointments, but each donation is critical to patient care.

Rossford Board of Education disagrees on May 6 levy

Board members Tiffany Densic and Teresa McKnight expressed their lack of support for the upcoming levy during Rossford Board of Education’s regular meeting on March 17.The board approved the upcoming renewal operations levy 5-0 in January. The board is sending the renewal as a reduction from 5.

Township hires full- time firefighter; police sergeant retires

During the regular Perrysburg Township Board of Trustees meeting on April 2, trustees approved hiring parttime firefighter Jacob Rands as a full-time member of the department. Rands will start on April 21 at an hourly rate of $28.38.

Township deputy police chief retires

Officers of the Perrysburg Township Police Department and guests gathered to celebrate the last day of work of retiring Deputy Police Chief Dave Nixon on March 28.Nixon served with Perrysburg Township for 17 years.
