The Wood Soil and Water Conservation District is offering a fingerling fish sale for pond owners to stock their ponds. Fish species include: bluegill, hybrid bluegill, redear shellcracker, channel catfish, Largemouth Bass, perch, fathead minnows and Triploid White Amur.

The KidsLinked First Annual Toledo-Rossford Children’s Festival, presented by Once Upon a Child, is Saturday, May 3, at the TOCA Sports Center, 10020 South Compass Drive, Rossford. The event is from 1 to 3 p.m., for general entry, with a noon to 1 p.m., VIP entry available.

Rossford celebrates Arbor Day, honors local gardener

For more than 27 years, Rossford has been named a Tree City USA. As part of this, the city’s tree commission holds a tree planting ceremony each year on Arbor Day.This year, the tree commission planted a “summer fun” variety of the Cornus kousa tree near city hall.

Rossford High School Wind Ensemble receives superior score

The Rossford High School Wind Ensemble received a Superior 1 score, the highest possible rating, at the State OMEA Competition on April 3 in Findlay. This is the ensemble’s third Superior rating in a row.

Rossford Schools volunteers help pack meals

Rossford School’s Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Committee gave back to the Islamic Food Bank by volunteering at their meal packing event.The food bank has donated meals for Rossford families in the past.
