First quarter real estate activity report for Wood County

Wood County Recorder, Connor Rose, has released the first quarter 2025 report detailing real estate transaction activity, including deed and mortgage filings, and compared those numbers with the same period in 2024.

Rossford United Methodist to hold lasagna dinner May 18

Rossford United Methodist Church will hold a homemade lasagna dinner on Sunday, May 18, from noon to 2 p.m. This will be drive-through and carryout only. The meal includes lasagna, cole slaw, garlic bread and dessert.

Sunshine Greenhouse to hold Mother’s Day plant sale

Sunshine Greenhouse Mother’s Day plant sale will be held at Sunshine Communities, 7223 Maumee Western Road, on Wednesday and Thursday, May 7 and 8, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Friday, May 9, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, May 10, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday will feature a half-off sale.

Police and fire departments conduct drill

In conjunction with Rossford Exempted Village School District, the police and fire departments conducted an emergency drill at the junior and senior high school on May 6, from 8 to 10:30 a.m.
