Lady Dogs holds 23rd annual golf outing

The RHS Lady Dogs softball program’s annual golf outing will be August 2, 8 a.m., at the Chippewa Golf Course, 23550 West State Route 579, Curtice.The event costs $85, which includes golfing, cart and dinner held at the American Legion in Rossford, 145 Bergin Street.

Rossford Public Library has released their musical lineup for their free summer concert series, Libraries Rock.The event takes place Wednesdays through August 13, from 6 to 8 p.m., at 720 Dixie Highway. Attendees are asked to bring a chair or blanket for sitting on the library lawn.

Those who missed Rossford’s Super Cruise-In Car Show on June 17—or for whom attending once just wasn’t enough—will have another opportunity on July 15 as part of the city’s weekly Stroll the Street.

As the busy Fourth of July holiday week gets closer, the American Red Cross asks donors to celebrate by making a blood or platelet donation appointment to help power the blood supply through midsummer. While all blood types are needed, donors with type O blood are most urgently needed.

Local Lutheran churches to host worship service and picnic

Lutheran Church of the Master and Zoar Lutheran Church will be hosting a combined outdoor worship service on Sunday, July 6, 10 a.m., at 28744 Simmons Road, Perrysburg, followed by a picnic and music.Both congregations have a longstanding tradition of combining worships outdoors each summer.
