Rossford Balloon and Fireworks Fest lifts off Friday and Saturday, July 18-19

The skies over Northwest Ohio are set to shine as the 2025 Rossford Balloon and Fireworks Fest kicks off this Friday and Saturday, July 18 and 19, near the TOCA Soccer Center, 10020 South Compass Drive.The free, family-friendly event promises two nights of colorful hot air balloons and more.

Wood County Title Office to close for renovations

The Wood County Title Office will be undergoing a remodeling project and be closed to walk-in customers effective July 21 through July 29. They anticipate reopening for regular business on Wednesday, July 30, at 8 a.m.

577 to hold rain barrel class

The 577 Foundation will host a rain barrel make-andtake workshop on Thursday, July 31. There are four class times: 4 to 4:45 p.m.; 5 to 5:45 p.m.; 6 to 6:45 p.m., and 7 to 7:45 p.m.

Children can experience glass blowing demonstrations on Thursday, July 24, from 2 to 5 p.m. The program, Baby Dragon, will be conducted by the Toledo Museum of Art.For adults, the book club will meet Thursday, July 24, at 11 a.m. to discuss “Daisy Jones and the Six” by Taylor Jenkins Reid.
