Rossford Schools R building hosts drone camp open house

Rossford students flew drones through obstacle courses and sharpened their skills on drone simulators during the drone camp open house at the R multi-use building on July 18.The event was made possible by the Bulldog Foundation and First Solar.

Rossford Public Library

Rossford Public Library will host summer storytimes through July 23. Storytimes are: 4 to 6 year olds, Monday evenings at 6 p.m. through July 21st; 1-2-3 Read! for 1 to 3 year olds, Tuesday evenings at 6 p.m., through July 22 and 1-2-3 Read! for 1 to 3 year olds is Wednesday mornings at 10 a.m.

The Wood County Museum and the Summer Kitchen Girls will host a tea workshop at the Wood County Museum on July 21, 6 p.m., where participants will explore the world of tea and ice cream, learning how to make three tea-infused frozen treats that have been infused with teas sold at the museum.

Kent State posts spring honors lists

Two Rossford residents received honors for the spring semester at Kent State University.MaKayla Edmond was named to the president’s list. To attain this honor, full-time students must have an average in the semester of 4.
