The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) offers an ongoing opportunity for individuals considering a career as a trooper to participate in its ride-along program.

A foster care discovery meeting will be held on Sunday, July 27, 7 p.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 11050 Avenue Road, Perrysburg. Individuals of all faiths are welcome to attend to learn about making a difference in children’s lives through foster care.

Toledo Zoo awarded Financial Literacy Education Grant

The Toledo Zoo is one of eight organizations selected to receive a Literacy Education Grant during the 2026 fiscal year. This was presented from the Ohio Department of Commerce Division of Financial Institutions.The Toledo Zoo and Aquarium was awarded $2,500.
