Rossford Schools is launching a new drone camp this summer from July 8 to 19 for sixth through eighth grade students at the R. The camp will have 30 students take part in the “Drone Legends” program. The new program is possible through a partnership with the Bulldog Foundation and First Solar. First Solar pledged $5,000 a year for five years to the Bulldog Foundation to start and develop the camp. The plan is to grow the camp into other science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) areas to reach more students. The donation is integral as this new summer camp launches.
