Perrysburg Township Fire and EMS to start administering blood products in the field

Starting September 1, Perrysburg Township Fire and EMS (PTFD) will have the capabilities to administer blood products in the field. PTFD will become the first in the Wood County and surrounding Toledo area to carry packed red blood cells (pRBCs) and plasma to the point of injury.
