In a back-and-forth offensive shootout, the Rossford Bulldogs came up on the wrong side of a last-second nail-biter, falling to the Lake Flyers, 34-33. Both teams entered the game with identical 1-5 overall records and were winless in the conference.

Eastwood beats Bulldogs on second-half surge, 48-10

The Rossford Bulldogs kept pace with the Eastwood Eagles for most of the first half behind an improved defensive effort. However, a scoring surge early in the second half led to a lopsided, 4810 win for the Eagles, dropping Rossford to its fifth straight loss.

Rossford cross country to build off experience

Fourth-year Head Coach McKenzie Downour is excited about the start of the varsity cross-country season. She has good reason to feel this way. From the standpoint of experience and leadership, the boys team boasts 10 seniors on the roster and some promising newcomers. The team will look to improve upon a sixth place Northern Buckeye Conference finish last year by relying on what has been their hallmark, working together.

RHS boys soccer team ready to compete

The Rossford varsity boys soccer team experienced a tough season a year ago. In recent seasons the Bulldogs have had a plethora of youth, and last year several freshmen and sophomores were thrust into the varsity limelight. The result was a two-win season and a fifth-place finish in the Northern Buckeye Conference.

The Bulldog Foundation will hold its sixth annual golf outing on Monday, September 25, at Belmont Country Club, 29601 Bates Road, Perrysburg. Cost is $125 per person and includes lunch, golf, carts and prizes for winners.

Bulldog volleyball on cusp of NBC title hopes

Head Coach Joe Durco feels that his varsity volleyball team is ready to move up in Northern Buckeye Conference standings. Last year’s team finished 8-6 on the season and placed fourth in the league. They then defeated Woodward in the tournament before losing to Lake in the sectional finals.

Student passes are at a discounted rate because of generous business sponsors. Student passes for the year are $33.66.
