Marian T. (Laube) Marquette, age 90 of Rossford, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2022, at Maumee Pointe Assisted Living, Maumee. She was born February 15, 1932, in Findlay, to Norbert and Nora (Dindall) Laube. Marian was a graduate of Findlay High School, where she was a member of “The Big 19,” which then became life-long friends.

Gerald (Jerry) E. Bohner, 84, of Rossford, passed away at 12:48 p.m., on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at home. He was born on June 18, 1938, in Defiance, to the late Melvin and Thelma Bohner. On February 27, 1960, he married Sharon Bielski, and she survives in Rossford. They had 62 years together.

Sharon K. “Punky” Screptock, age 77, of Rossford, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. Sharon was a graduate of Perrysburg High School and had previously been employed for Nationwide Insurance, Welch Publishing and Market Day as a sales representative. Sharon often enjoyed watching old western films and Hallmark movies. She was known to hunt for a good bargain at garage and rummage sales. Sharon made the best potato salad and egg salad, that she shared with everyone in the family. Most of all, Sharon loved her family and cherished any time she spent with

Joyce J. (Gwozdz) Kovach, 86, of Rossford, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 29, 2022, at the Toledo Hospital, surrounded by her family. Joyce was born in Rossford, on July 4, 1936, to Valerian and Helen (Knurek) Gwozdz. She remained a life-long resident of this small town, a community which she truly cherished.

Jean was born October 20, 1946, in Toledo, to Harry and Helen Thoman. She married the love of her life, Thomas Matuszak, on July 18, 1970. She graduated from Whitney Vocational School and worked both at National City Bank and as a homemaker.

Drugs and Myers’ Dixie Pharmacy in Rossford. His father started the family business in Rossford on April 15, 1945. Following the sale of the pharmacy in 1987, he was director of administration for Pharmacy Card, Inc. in Maumee, for five years. Until his retirement in 1998, he served as a consultant pharmacist for Heartland Healthcare Services in Toledo.

Brenda’s greatest joy was family. She loved hosting at home, whether on holidays or for a Sunday dinner. Summers at her home were most memorable. She loved seeing her children and grandchildren enjoying the property– fishing off the dock, swimming in the pond, riding the go-kart around the yard and playing a game of horseshoes. And the end to a perfect day was sitting on the back patio, drinking a beer in a sugar-lined pint glass, overlooking her flower garden.

Paul Tesluk passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at the age of 82, with family members by his side. He was born in Toledo, on July 2, 1940, son of the late Walter and Genevieve (Swet) Tesluk. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Paulette (Tesluk) Wesolowski and his first wife, Jean (Burgin) Spofford.

Rose Marie Pohlmeyer, 95, of Perrysburg, passed away August 12, 2022, at Parkcliffe of Northwood. She was born November 15, 1926, to Carl and Loretta Rose met her husband, Donald Pohlmeyer, while at a bar to dance and have some drinks with her father in Cleveland, after which they moved to Rossford in 1963.
