Christopher D. Harding, age 67, of Crossville, Tennessee, passed away on March 15, 2025, at Cumberland Medical Center.Mr. Harding was born on October 19, 1957, in Toledo, son of James Harding and Carole (Wolf) Harding.Christopher was a sheet metal machinist.

Noemi Procaccini, 98, of Rossford, passed away peacefully at home on March 21, 2025. She was born in Ostra, Italy, on April 22, 1926, to Cesare and Maria Berrettini.

REBECCA MERRIAM (ROPPE) SZOZDA

May 8,1952 to February 13, 2025Becky Szozda, 72, passed away on Thursday, February 13,2025.Becky was a 1970 graduate of Whitmer High School and a 1973 graduate of the Toledo Hospital School of Nursing. Becky worked 38 years for ProMedica, northwest Ohio’s largest health care provider.

David Garrett Kemp

David Garrett Kemp, M.D., F.A.C.P., Captain, Medical Corps, U.S. Navy Ret., age 83, of Gloucester, Virginia, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025. Dr. Kemp was born on February 21, 1941, in Toledo, to the late Donald and Blanche Gruber Kemp.He was a 1958 graduate of Rossford High School.

David A. Gwozdz passed away on January 24, 2025. He was born on May 9, 1962. He was 63 years old.David was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Cecelia, and his brother, Martin (Marty).

Eva Toth, 91, of Rossford, passed away on February 1, 2025. Eva was bom in Budapest, Hungary, on March 17, 1933. She met her husband, Julius, in Budapest, in a dance hall. She worked in Budapest at Magyar Optical Camera Research Center.

Thomas Arnold Schmeltz Sr., affectionately known as “Tom,” passed away peacefully on January 23, 2025, in Raleigh, North Carolina, at the age of 72. Born on May 31, 1952, Tom lived a life defined by love, dedication and family.

David “Dave” R. Hufford, Rossford, was a committed teacher, believing that it was important to “teach how your students learn.” He always made the extra effort to be sure that his students were well prepared when they left his automotive classroom or his college vocational education classroom.
