Raymond P. Bicanovsky, age 89, of Rossford, passed away on March 7, 2026.He was born December 7, 1936, in Toledo, to Carl and Estella (Mazur) Bicanovsky. He served in the United States Air Force from 195561 and was honorably discharged.Ray married Sylvia Jones in 1971.

MYRTLE MARIE GOBBELL (SMITH)

On March 14, 2026, Myrtle Marie Gobbell (Smith) followed her husband, Dexter Gobbell, of 66 years to heaven’s gate.Myrtle was born on June 9, 1940, to Louis Allen and Robbie (Morris) Smith in Waynesboro, Tennessee.

Neil Angus MacKinnon Jr., age 83, of Perrysburg, died Saturday February 14, 2026, at Story Point in Waterville. He was born January 31, 1943, in Dayton, to Mr. and Mrs. Neil Angus (Katherine Whitmore) MacKinnon.

Bonnie (Panning) Szul, of Rossford, was born January 8, 1939, to Fred and Helen (Mieczkowski) Panning and died February 12, 2026, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, with family at her bedside.Bonnie grew up in South Toledo and attended Libbey High School, Class of 1957.

•WILLIAM (BILL) RICH

William (Bill) Rich, of Perrysburg, finished his race on earth and entered heaven on December 25, 2025, at the age of 95. He was born April 13, 1930, in Akron, to Lawrence and Ida (Melvin) Rich.Bill served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

JOSEPH L. MONTZ

Joseph L. Montz, 48, of Rossford, passed away at his home on Saturday, February 7, 2026. Joe was born on February 11, 1977, in Oregon, Ohio, to Alvin and Margaret (Mazur) Montz.

•JULIUS TOTH Julius Toth, 94, of Rossford, passed away peacefully at home, on January 21, 2026. Julius was bom in Csapod, Hungary, on March 6, 1931. He met his wife Eva Majoros in Budapest, while studying at the university.

LUELLA “COOKIE” SCHRAMM

Luella “ Cookie” Schramm died on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Otterbein in Perrysburg after a long illness. Cookie was born in Toledo, on February 7, 1935, to Leora (Bouya) and Clarence Bohland. She was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and on November 20, 1954, she married DeLoy Schramm.

On December 31, 2025, the good Lord called on Dexter Dean Gobbell.He was born on November 30, 1939, to Earlie and Pearl (Moore) Gobbell, in Waynesboro, Tennessee. He would eventually move to Rossford, with his beloved wife of 66 years, Myrtle (Smith) Gobbell.
