Christina Lynn Glick (Christy Weller), age 78, passed away peacefully at Regency Hospital Oregon, Ohio, Monday, March 16, 2026, after a long battle with lung disease. She was born on October 24, 1947, in Toledo, to parents Russell M. and Gloria J. (Luebka) Weller. She was raised in various locations in Toledo and Sylvania, with a short time in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Chris graduated from Whitmer High School in 1966.

Chris married Kent Douglas Glick (Doug) on September 9, 1967. They lived in Toledo, Northwood and Rossford during their years together.

Chris worked at various businesses including Motorola Communications, and various Lion Store locations. Many items, including furniture, were found for Chris and family while dumpster diving when the Lion store cleared out unsold items.

Chris’s mother worked as a commercial artist and seamstress during her life. Chris learned about art and sewing from her parents and sewed many clothes for her family. She last worked making beautiful flowers out of fine ribbon at the Ribbonry, owned by her cousin Cam.

Much of Chris and Doug’s early free time was spent scuba diving with the Toledo Submariners Dive Club. They dove in local quarries, the Great Lakes, northern Florida springs and rivers, Florida Keys, Bahamas and Caribbean. They soon got into boating in some of the same locations.

They spent many vacations boating and fishing with many family members and friends on Wellers Bay in Consecon, Ontario, Canada. Wellers Bay is named after Chris’s third great-grandfather, Asa Weller. Chris and Doug raised two children, Sean Douglas (LeAnna) Glick and Heather Lynn (Shawn) McAlees. They have one granddaughter, Morgan Lynn Glick. The kids were treated to vacations at Old Mission, Michigan, Wellers Bay and Florida.

Chris also traveled to Scotland on two geneology trips with her cousins, Cam and Margo.

Her final travels were to her cousin’s cottage on Lake Nipissing in Ontario.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband; son; daughter; granddaughter; sister, Darcy Williams; brother, James Russell (Lucinda) Weller, and many U.S. and Canadian cousins, nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, many aunts, uncles, cousins and one nephew.

Services and burial will be private. Arrangements were handled by Sujkowski-Walker Funeral Home in Rossford. Memories you have of Chris may be left on their website.

The family requests that you reflect on good times you had with Chris and say a prayer for her. We request that any tributes to her be made to the charity of your choice.
