Robert J. “Bob” Szul, age 89, passed away October 13, 2024. He was born in Rossford, to Walter and Angela (Hrosko) Szul. Bob was a 1953 graduate of Rossford High School. After high school he enlisted in the U.S. Army and proudly served his country for two years. Following his honorable discharge from the Army, he went to work for Libbey-Owens-Ford in the office. In 1961, Bob transferred to Libbey- Owens-Ford in Lathrop, California. He lived in Manteca, California, for 60 years, returning in 2018 due to illness.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Walter. Bob is survived by his brother, John (Bonnie) of Rossford; step-daughter, Melissa; step-grandchildren, Killian, Oranne and Allan, who reside in France, and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be private. Memorial donations may be given to Ashanti Hospice.
