Thomas Edward Sox, 90, of Rossford, passed away peacefully, Sunday, October 20, 2024, at his home. Tom was born January 6, 1934, in Toledo, to Edward and Bertha (Kopp) Sox. He attended St. Thomas Aquinas and Macomber schools and proudly served in the U.S. Army. Tom married Bernadette Gadus in 1967 and they shared 57 years together.

He worked in operations at the Sun Oil Company, retiring after 42 years. Tom was an avid Notre Dame fan and enjoyed watching the football games. He loved to read and had a great sense of humor.

Along with his wife, Tom is survived by his daughter, Laurie Sox; sister-in-law, Loretta Gadus, and many nieces, nephews, greatnieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters, Dorthea Skwiercz, Virginia Crawford and MaryAnn Gerrier.

Per Tom’s wishes, services will be private, and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Sujkowski-Walker Funeral Home, Rossford. Condolences may be made made online to the family at walkerfuneral homes.com.
