NAMI offers free programs to address mental health

National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Wood County is a self-help organization offering free events, educational classes, support groups and other programs that address mental health for the Wood County community.

Wood County Museum to host author of WWII book

The Wood County Museum will host Ed Kruszynski for his talk about his book, “The Medic’s Wife,” on Tuesday, September 9, at 6 p.m., at the museum. Admission will be $7 per person, or free for museum members. The price includes the talk, with light refreshments and a tour of the museum’s exhibits.

Park district seeks volunteers for Carter Historic Farm October festival

The Wood County Park District (WCPD) is preparing and seeking volunteers for its Heritage Farm Fest on Saturday, October 4, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.The festival and all volunteer opportunities are at Carter Historic Farm, 18331 Carter Road, Bowling Green.
