Wood County Museum to host author of WWII book

The Wood County Museum will host Ed Kruszynski for his talk about his book, “The Medic’s Wife,” on Tuesday, September 9, at 6 p.m., at the museum. Admission will be $7 per person, or free for museum members. The price includes the talk, with light refreshments and a tour of the museum’s exhibits.

Rossford cuts ribbon on new Pocket Park

The City of Rossford celebrated the opening of the Downtown Pocket Park with a ribbon cutting on August 26, at 153 Superior Street, Rossford. The space is intended to help make the downtown Rossford area more transit and pedestrianfriendly.

Trustees explain decision to proceed with new building

During its regular meeting on August 20, the Perrysburg Township Board of Trustees heard an update on the new administration building project from Township Administrator Jon Eckel. He advised that ground-breaking for the project was currently projected to occur during the third week of September.

Rossford Public Library helps residents avoid utility scams

Scams targeting consumers are a widespread problem. There are hundreds of known scams, and new ones are always emerging. Rossford Public Library invites the community to learn more about protecting themselves on Friday, September 12, 1 p.m., at 720 Dixie Highway.

Lime City Road Closure

As of Monday, August 25, at 7 a.m., Lime City Road is closed to vehicular traffic at Schreier Road. This closure will last approximately seven days. Detour signs have been posted.
