Rossford Fire Department Officer sworn in as lieutenant

Colin Baney, an officer of the Rossford Fire Department who was promoted to lieutenant, was sworn in during Rossford City Council’s regular meeting on September 8.“I’m looking forward to the opportunity, working alongside everyone, to keep this department moving forward,” said Lieutenant Baney.

Avoid Utility Scams program cancelled

Rossford Public Library’s Avoid Utility Scams program, originally scheduled for Friday, September 12, has been cancelled due to lack of registration.The library is looking to reschedule the program for another day that would be better for the public, but has not set a date at this time.

Show Them We Care seeks names for care packages

The Show Them We Care ministry program at All Saints Catholic Church, which sends monthly care packages to soldiers deployed overseas, is looking for names and addresses of currently deployed military personnel for their mailing list.

Sculpture Walk announces winning sculptures

Perrysburg Twp. food distribution

The Perrysburg Township food distribution will be held Thursday, September 11, from 8 to 10 a.m. The township fire department will sponsor the food give-away at the township building, 26609 Lime City Road, the second Thursday of each month.
