City of Rossford holds holiday food drive

The City of Rossford is accepting non-perishable food items for its holiday food drive, now through Tuesday, December 9. This year, donations will go toward assisting Rossford Schools with food support for approximately 35 families.

Grinchmas and Santa Shop to support RHS Drama

Community members can support the Rossford High School Drama program and local vendors at the annual Grinchmas and Santa Shop on Saturday, December 6, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Rossford Junior-Senior High School, 701 Superior Street.

Wood County passes annual jail inspection

The Wood County Sheriff’s Office received a 100 percent passage of the annual jail inspection conducted by the state Bureau of Adult Detention. The Department of Rehabilitation and Correction inspected the jail on November 19.

CodeRED reports nationwide system outage

Wood County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) was recently notified by CodeRED, the county’s contracted mass notification services vendor, that CodeRED experienced a cybersecurity incident. As a result of the incident, the OnSolve CodeRED platform is unable to issue alerts and notifications.
