The Rossford Chess Team hosted the Greater Toledo Area High School Chess League’s Annual Beach Tournament on February 28.In the K-12 high school open, senior Phoenix Bishop earned 2.5 points and won the first place upset champion trophy for the second year in a row.

With land use officially secured for its new festival site at the northeast corner of Crossroads Parkway and Bass Pro Boulevard, planning is now moving at full speed for the 2026 Rossford Balloon & Fireworks Fest—America 250. The free three-day family event is scheduled for July 17–19.
