Toledo Craftsman’s Guild Spring Festival of Crafts, March 14-15

The Toledo Craftsman’s Guild annual Spring Festival of Crafts will be held Saturday, March 14, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, March 15, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will be held at Premier Banquet Hall, 4480 Heatherdowns Boulevard, across from the Stranahan Theatre.

WCCOA to hold ‘Matter of Balance’ class, targeted toward fall prevention

The Wood County Committee on Aging, Inc. (WCCOA) will be holding a “Matter of Balance” class at the Wood County Senior Center, 140 South Grove Street, Bowling Green, every Monday from March 16 to May 4, from 1 to 3 p.m.

‘Ohio in the American Revolutionary War’ presentation set for Mar. 18

As part of a yearlong celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary, Waterville Historical Society invites the public to a free program presented by Larry Nelson, Ph.D, concerning the role of Ohio in the Revolutionary War.The program is set for Wednesday, March 18, at 7 p.m.

The Wood County Suicide Prevention Coalition is dedicated to raising awareness of suicide, conveying that it is preventable, mental health conditions are treatable and decreasing stigma as a barrier to seeking treatment.
