The Addiction Task Force/Wood County Prevention Coalition (WCPC) will meet Friday, December 8, from 9 to 10:30 a.m., at the Wood County Educational Service Center, 1867 Research Drive, Bowling Green. Ohio Governor Mike De-Wine shared that $4 million in grant funding is now available to help local law enforcement agencies implement new violent crime reduction strategies in their communities. Governor DeWine prioritized continued funding for the Ohio Violent Crime Reduction Grant program in the state’s 2024-25 operating budget that was passed by the Ohio General Assembly in June.
