Vietnam veterans invited to free dinner Sun., March 29

In honor of Vietnam Veterans Day, Northwood VFW #2984 will host a free dinner for area Vietnam veterans on Sunday, March 29, from 4 to 7 p.m.Free dinners and nonalcoholic beverages are available to Vietnam veterans and guests may purchase meals for $10.

Northwest Ohio wildlife field reports

State Wildlife Officer Reid Van Cleve, assigned to Ottawa County, observed two ice anglers returning to their vehicle from fishing on Lake Erie and contacted them. One of the anglers did not have a valid license.

Spring into fun at Rossford Public Library this April.The spring literacy sessions continue through the month of April. Storytime for ages 4-6 will meet Monday evenings at 6 p.m. through April 27 and Tuesday afternoons at noon through April 28. 1-2-3 Read will meet Tuesday evenings at 6 p.m.
