Read to the dogs at Rossford Public Library

Rossford Public Library invites children ages 5 and up to practice their reading skills with Read to the Dogs. Every Tuesday in May, from 5:30-6:30 p.m., participants can read to a licensed therapy dog at the library, 720 Dixie Highway. Registration is required by calling 419-666-0924.

Wood County Museum to hold ‘ Early Ohio on the Portage River’ reenactment

A free reenactment will be held on the grounds of the Wood County Museum, entitled “Early Ohio on the Portage River.” It will be presented Friday, May 1, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, May 2 and 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
