Wood County Park District will offer nature camps Tuesday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the W.

A Comedy For The Critters fund-raiser, to benefit Nature’s Nursery, will be held Saturday, May 4, at the Maumee Indoor Theater. Doors open at 6 p.m., with the show starting at 7 p.m.

Unison Health, in partnership with the Wood County Alcohol, Drug Addiction, and Mental Health Services Board (ADAMHS), will offer a new Substance Use Disorder (SUD) navigation program, a new initiative that works one on one with individuals in Wood County struggling with substance use.

The Ohio Highway Patrol (OHP) joined forces with other members of the 6-State Trooper Project to focus on distracted driving enforcement. During the project, 1,255 people in Ohio were charged with distracted driving.

Area residents who enjoy vacationing at Indian Lake State Park will be able to continue to do so this spring and summer. The park is now open following damage from the tornado and severe storms that struck Logan County on March 14.
