Substitute teacher earns Toledo Transportation Club scholarship to become truck driver

Looking to make a positive impact in the local transportation industry, the Toledo Transportation Club (TTC) has created an annual scholarship for Owens Community College students enrolled in the CDL certification program.

Eastwood all-class reunion set for Sept. 19

Eastwood’s Alumni Association (EAA) reunion committee is planning an Eastwood all-class reunion celebration. All Eastwood High School 1959-2026 and pre-Eastwood alumni are invited.On Friday, September 18, school tours will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m., followed by a home football game at 7 p.m.

At its regular meeting on August 5, the Perrysburg Township Board of Trustees adopted a resolution creating a tax increment financing (TIF) district for approximately 36 acres on the west side of Lime City Road, north of S.R.

The Rossford Area Chamber of Commerce invites residents and visitors to enjoy an afternoon and evening of family fun at Rossford Riverfest 2026: Hooked on Community, on Saturday, August 15, from 2 to 10 p.m., along the Maumee River at Veterans Memorial Park, next to the Rossford Marina.
