Northwest Ohio wildlife field reports

State Wildlife Officer Payton Phenicie, assigned to Wyandot County, received a call that individuals had entered the refuge portion of Killdeer Plains Wildlife Area. Officer Phenicie located a vehicle and observed an individual shoot at a white-tailed deer from the vehicle.

Toledo Sail and Power Squadron holds Change of Watch

The Toledo Sail and Power Squadron held its Change of Watch, on January 10, at the Oliver House in downtown Toledo. The 2026 bridge of officers was sworn in by D29 Commander, Kathy Runner. Members in attendance enjoyed a luncheon, along with the meeting and ceremony.
