Homestead Exemption renewal notices mailed

Approximately 7,000 Homestead Exemption renewal notices have been mailed to eligible homeowners throughout Wood County, according to Matthew Oestreich, Wood County auditor. If there are no changes in an applicant’s status, the form does not need to be returned.

Libraries Rock! returns

Rossford Public Library’s free summer concert series, Libraries Rock!, is back again—Wednesday nights, from 6 to 8 p.m., June 10 through August 12. Community members are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket and listen to music on the lawn at 720 Dixie Highway.

It’s summertime and the Rossford Public Library is heating up with programs.The annual Summer Reading Club will kick off on Monday, June 1 for children, teens and adults, with the theme this year of “Unearth a Story!” It will run through July 24.

Area blood drives set

The American Red Cross needs donors to help ensure a strong, local blood supply is available at a moment’s notice.All who donate blood from June 1 to 28, will receive a $15 e-gift card to a merchant of their choice, plus automatic entry for a chance to win one of two $7,500 gift cards.

OSHP investigates fatal crash on I-75

The Bowling Green Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal traffic crash on Interstate 75 northbound near the Interstate 475 interchange in Perrysburg Township. The crash was reported on May 22, at approximately 4:20 a.m.
